Bayn A'alamein | "بين عالمين"
This project explores how dream symbols have been interpreted across Egyptian history, bridging Ancient Egyptian oneiromancy, Islamic dream interpretation, and Jungian analytical psychology. This research examines the enduring presence of dream symbols in Egyptian culture—revealing how the same imagery carries different yet interconnected meanings across millennia and belief systems. By placing Ancient Egyptian dream texts alongside Islamic scholarly tradition and modern psychological theory, the project uncovers both cultural divergences and surprising universal themes in how humans understand the symbolic language of dreams. The research is presented through an illustrated card series that makes these layered interpretations accessible and invites contemplation of dreams as a bridge between the seen and unseen worlds.
